“Straight Lines” is a HyperCard stack thought to adjust points to a line and provide the resulting equation.
Data are entered as in a worksheet (decimals can be separated by ‘.’ as well as by ‘,’), and can be imported or exported via the utilities menu. Log values are calculated automatically clicking in the “log Y” button. Statistic calculations can be made with different weighting or/and decimals numbers. It is also possible to interpolate values once the line adjusted. “Gen. Time” is the doubling time for a growing culture (the biologists will understand it very well). You can plot X vs. Y as well as X vs. logY, very useful in cases of exponential growths. Using the boxes close to the values, you can choose the ones you want to employ to adjust the line. The plot size can be changed with the “size box” in its bottom-left corner. The plot can also be exported via the Utilities menu

PS if you are using a Mac with 68000 processor, perhaps you will find the stack very slow.
